Governor Abiola Ajimobi has advised Oyo state Governor Elect, Engr Seyi Makinde to be wary of sycophants, avoid acrimony and make frantic effort to sustain the peace maintained by his administration.

Governor Ajimobi said this today when he received Governor Elect Engr Seyi Makinde on a courtesy visit to the government house.

While commending Engr Seyi Makinde for initiating the noble gesture of visiting, Governor Ajimobi also implored the Governor Elect to form an all inclusive government with quality people and endeavour to accommodate other people in Oyo state that could add value rather than party members alone.

Governor Ajimobi also assured that he would always be available to render useful advise and support when necessary

Earlier in his remarks, Governor Elect, Engr. Seyi Makinde said his visit was necessary to touch base with the Governor after electioneering and politicking and might require his assistance for the serious work of governance.

Engr. Makinde noted that he would work at sustaining shared vision from both camp to see a prosperous Oyo state where justice and equity prevail

In the entourage of the Governor Elect were the Deputy Governor Elect Engr Remi Olaniyan, PDP state chairman, Alhaji Kumi Mustapha, Director General Seyi Makinde campaign organisation, chief Bayo Lawal, Prince Dotun Oyelade amongst others.
