Thousands of workers under the umbrella of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Oyo state took to the streets on Ibadan on Tuesday for the strike mobilization awareness and rally.

Recall that insideoyo.com had earlier reported that the Oyo state chapter will join other states of the federation for the rally as a directive from the national body of the association.

The rally took off from the NLC house at Idi-Ape and moved through Agodi-gate enroute Total garden causing traffic gridlock.

The workers decorated themselves with banners with inscriptions insisting on the payment of N30,000 minimum wage.
