The candidate for Ibadan Southwest II state constituency, Idris Ajimobi, under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied the rumours circulating all over the space that he has denounced his membership from APC and joined the Accord party.

Idris Ajimobi, a son of the late. Governor of Oyo State, Sen. Isiak Abiola-Ajimobi has denied the rumours going rounds that he has left APC for Accord party

He made this know while addressing pressmen at his Ibadan Residence, on Friday.

He said: “ I still remain in APC and I urge true Ajimobi supporters to do the same, this party my father was also part of the founding father of this great party in Oyo state and so therefore I cannot let all what my father as worked for to be in vain. Remember before the death of my lovely father, he was the Acting National Chairman of All Progressive Congress APC and he has worked so tirelessly for the party, we can’t just let all he has worked for be in vain

“I’m here to rebuild, rebrand and restructure my father legacy and I’m ready to take over the structure and mantle of leadership of Ajimobi dynasty.

“So whoever believe in my father dynasty and also believes in me, I urged you all to remain truthful and faithful to the party. This is our home we don’t have any other place to call a home.

“I urge our leaders from the national level to come to the rescue of APC oyo state from collapsing and I plead with all aggrieved members of the party to come together and solve there differences for the betterment, progress and prosperity of the party.”
