As part of his campaign activities, Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, Oyo South Senatorial Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) alongside his campaign team visited Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo state.
This was made known in a statement which was made available to newsmen on Saturday by his media team.
According to the statement, Alli, together with his team paid a visit to the first-ever Senator produced by Ibarapa area of the Senatorial District, Senator Peter Adeyemo, after which they proceeded to APC Secretariat along Sango-Orita road where he met with the Wards and Local Government Executives.
He later joined Ward 5 party faithfuls in Ibarapa East to mark the 3rd Annual Youths and Women wing anniversary of the ward.
In his remarks, Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli congratulated the Youths and Women wing of Ward 5 on this year’s anniversary while beseeching them to work in harmony, embrace peace and love amongst all party faithful which is the key to unlock and usher the Party to victory in the forthcoming 2023 election.
Also, Oloye Alli reiterated the need to work for all APC Candidates from “top to bottom or bottom to top” in order to enjoy dividends of democracy.
He promised amongst others, not to disappoint the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District by providing good and quality representation, active governance intervention in the affairs of his constituents and give everyone a sense of belonging in the running of his/her affairs.
Representing Engr Aderemi Abass Oseni, the APC House of Reps Candidate for Ido /Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Hon. Segun Kolawole, who is the point-man in Ibarapa East local government, reiterated the need to do what must be done charging them to continue with the great job they have been doing, “all APC candidates must win” and they should not relent and the efforts need to be doubled.
Meanwhile, the Campaign team also visited Party leaders including Baba Jolaosho, Elder Adeola, Apostle Aderounmu and other stakeholders in the local government.
He with the Provision Sellers Association and Ready Made Sellers. The leadership of the associations and a representative of the CAN youth wing identified with him and acknowledged that as someone whose track records surpassed others assured him of their total support.
Reacting, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli promised to bring the government closer to them in various ways and forms.
The campaign team visited the Palace of Bale of Maya.
Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli had a fruitful discussion/engagement with the Bale, his chiefs and the representatives of Maya Youths. While appreciating Barr Sharafadeen Alli and other APC candidates for his their support to the community, The Baale of the Town said ‘Barr Alli, has been identifying with the community and supporting them even before seeking elective office’ so he has their total support. Barrister Sharafadeen Alli in his response ordered for immediate provision of some other basic amenities.
