A member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Hon. Shina Peller, has urged the beneficiaries of the Shina Ayo 2019 Hajj Scheme to make their pilgrimage to the sacred land count positively on the society.
Hon. Peller made this appeal yesterday, 12th October, 2019, when the beneficiaries of the scheme paid him a courtesy/thank you visit in his country home, Iseyin.
In his words, “This is my first meeting with you since your return from the Holy Land in August. I wholeheartedly welcome you back home with a firm belief that your souls and minds have further been purified. Congratulations.”
Hon. Peller continued, “Let me also use this opportunity to urge you to make your pilgrimage to the sacred land reflect positively in your thoughts, utterances and acts towards fellow human beings, your immediate environment, our constituency, Nigeria and society at large.”
The newest pilgrims, led by Imam Abass Olokuta, expressed their profound gratitude to Hon. Peller for the Hajj sponsorship and assured him that they will strive to be guided by virtuous acts as enjoined by God and impact positively on the society through all possible means they deem fit.
Similarly, they also seized the opportunity to present to Hon. Shina Peller a report detailing their journey from Nigeria to the Holy Land, Saudi Arabia, and their successful return to Nigeria.
