Oyo has recorded 103 new confirmed cases coronavirus on Tuesday, the highest figure since the beginning of 2021.
With this, the state has 4,426 cases, making it the fifth most infected states in the country.

The Nigeria Centre of Diseases Control (NCDC) on Tuesday revealed that 1,270 new cases were reported from 22 states.
Lagos led with 435 new cases on Tuesday, more than half of the daily total. The commercial city is Nigeria’s coronavirus epicenter with a total of over 36,000 confirmed cases and more than 255 deaths.

The Minister of State for Health, Mr Olorunmbe Mamora, warned Nigerians against complacency in containing the COVID-19 pandemic as the much-awaited vaccines may not arrive the country as soon as expected.
