Oyo North Hausa, Fulani Community Endorses Bayo Lawal, Others

Members of Hausa, Fulani community in Oyo North senatorial district, on Wednesday endorsed the Oyo North senatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Barr. Bayo Lawal and other candidates of the party, insideoyo.com can report.

Oyo North Hausa Fulani community which comprises the 13 local government areas that make up the Oyo North senatorial district converged on Kishi in Irepo local government to pledge their support and loyalty for the ADC’s candidates namely Bayo Lawal, Musah Abdulwasi, Lukman Olawale Balogun, Ganiyu Aiyesoro, Ganiyu Yaqub Tasoolo and others for the 2019 general elections.

Sheriki Hausawa of kishi land, Alhaji Usman Mannu, who spoke on behalf of the Hausa Fulani community assured the ADC candidates of their support.

“We supported Fatai Buhari in the last election, he forsaked us. We’ve decided to support you because we believe you will represent us well.

“We’ve communicated with all our people across the 13 local governments. We speak in one voice. In sha Allah, You will emerge.” He said.

The Kishi-born former Attorney General, Bayo Lawal while reacting thanked everyone especially the Hausa/ Fulani community for standing by him and pledging their support.

He also thanked the gathering who defied the scorching sun harmoniously despite not giving them anything. He promised not to disappoint them.
