The Chairman House of Representatives’ Committee on Information, National Orientiation, Ethics and Value, Honourable Segun Dokun Odebunmi populary known as Bunvic has expressed optimism that Nigeria will rise above its challenges.
Odebunmi, repesenting Surulere and Ogo Oluwa Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly said things are already improving progressively and the hope is that things will get better in 2020.
He said this in a New Year message while speaking with journalists in Oko in the Ogbomoso area of Oyo state.
His words “We need to always reference God in our affairs and with prayers, at the same time always strive to do right thing.
“Obviously, we are not were we were in the past years, though not where we are supposed to be but with prayer and total support for government we will make Nigeria a better place for us to live in.”
While urging people to always pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and political office holders, Odebunmi said the government will continue to do its own part to make life better for the citizens.
He reiterated his total commitment to the development of his constituency and promise to facilitate more federal government projects, training and opportunities that would enhance economic development in his constituency.
