A source who pleaded anonymity told Insideoyo.com that the commission has been inviting the former council bosses since the last one month, adding that “5 former chairmen from Ibadan are to be quizzed today over allegation of financial misconduct,” adding that “they were alleged of deducting N11 million each from the accounts of their respective council areas towards 2015 elections. ”
The source also added that over N100 million was allegedly found in one of the accounts of a permanent secretary who, the source revealed, is being interrogated over the same offence.
