Many months after indigenes of Oyo town, had lost hope that the proposed Atiba FM, one of the FMs under the supervision of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), will transmit news during the tenure of Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Inside Oyo can confirm that equipment to start operations have arrived the country.
After necessary documents have been sorted, the equipment will be moved to Oyo from Lagos soon.
Though the structure to be used, in front of Alaafin Palace, is yet to be roofed, the state government has already secured licence for the station, which is going to be the first fully digitalised radio station in the whole of Nigeria, it was gathered.
