The wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaja Titi Atiku Abubakar consulted with the former governor and Oyo State ADP guber candidate, Adebayo Alao-Akala, on the 2019 presidential elections.

Mrs. Abubakar in company of other dignitaries visited the former governor and ADP gubernatorial candidate on Wednesday at his Bodija residence.

Barr. A.B Ojo Chairman, Media & Publicity Committee, Akala Campaign organisation stated this in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The visit, according to Hajia Titi Abubakar is in continuation of her nationwide consultation with Leaders of thought, opinion moulders and top politicians across all political divides (religious, political and traditional).

She stated further that Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala being a major stakeholder and a force to reckon with in the political calculation of the south-west and Nigeria at large, it behoves on her as a daughter of the land to inform the elders of her place of birth of the political ambition of her husband who is also a son of the soil by extension of marriage and having spent the better part of his early life in the Southwest part of the country and seeolk their support in ensuring Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s victory at the forthcoming polls.

She encouraged people of the state and supporters to vote for Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the party.

The two parties later went into a close door meeting which lasted for about 50mins.
