A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Arowosaye Foundation has a donated a new community hall to Alaodi and Modeke communities in Oyo East Local government area of Oyo state.

Speaking while Commissioning the hall on Wednesday in Oyo, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde commended the foundation’s founder, Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi for the initiative and gesture.

Makinde said AROSAD is a good ambassador of the state that has used his personal resources to benefit lives of people. He said AROSAD’s passion for improving lives is exemplary.

Arowosaye who is the Chief Executive Officer of Arosad Properties and Consultancy Services Limited, said the hall is dedicated to his father, Alhaji Ganiyu Akano Arowosaye who passed away 26 years ago. He said the idea to launch the foundation was in continuation of his father’s legacies, whom he described as a philanthropist and a community builder.

He said since launch, the foundation has awarded scholarships to less privileged children, provided educational materials for students and relief materials for members of the communities. He said the hall will equally serve as skills acquisition centre of the foundation as the foundation plans on embarking on several empowerment programmes for members of the communities within the local government.

AROSAD said the foundation will continue to live up to its vision and mission which is to positively impact lives in the state and beyond.
