The First Nigeria-China Governors’ Investment Forum has ended in the Chinese commercial city, Guangzhou with Governor Abiola Ajimobi participating alongside other 14 Nigerian Governors.
The Forum offered the participating states the opportunity to showcase their potentials, comparative investment advantages and the efforts being made by the various governments to create the right environment for investment.
Recall that in November 2016, the governor Ajimobi stepped up moves to bring investors from China into the state. He had also assured the investing public of their safety and that of their assets.
The governor had given the assurance when he addressed about 1,000 Chinese investors on the need to participate in the Polaris-Pacesetter Free Trade Zone Development Limited in the state at the Great Hall of the People in China.
