A former House of Representatives member, Hon Busari has officially joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele local Government area of Oyo State.

Busari who represented Akinyele/ Lagelu federal constituency on Accord Party platform from 2011-2015 was received into the party by a front line House of Representatives aspirant, Hon Kunle Yusuff, MON, Executive Chairman of Akinyele local government, Hon Jimoh Taoreed, Engr Akinsola, Oloye Akin Aderibigbe, Chief Gbolagun, Sheu Kasali, Chief Arowosaye alongside PDP Chairman in the local government.

The leadership of the party accepted him accordingly and registered him as a bonafied member of PDP in ward 8, Akinyele and also inaugurated him as former Rep member into Akinyele PDP leadership caucus.

In his remarks, Hon Busari appreciated Akinyele leadership saying that the sterling performance of Governor Seyi Makinde on infrastructures across the State prompted his decision join the PDP and ready to work GSM and PDP tirelessly for the Governor’s second term bid.

He lauded the leadership style being display by Akinyele PDP leadership describing it as unique and encouraging. He described Hon. Kunle Yusuf MON and Hon. Jimoh Taoreed the Council Chairman as a good Ambassadors of Akinyele Local Government and Governor Seyi Makinde.

The party leadership described his defection as added advantage to Akinyele PDP. On his part, Hon. Kunle Yusuff MON, said in two weeks time, Akinyele/Lagelu PDP leadership will be very busy welcoming decampees from APC and others political parties.
