Quickborn Nigeria limited and Carboncor international Tech. Ltd, have continued their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts with the rehabilitation of some roads across Oyo State.
Presently, the companies are working on Mokola to Ojoo road after the recent completion of Mokola through J Allen to UCH road.
The local contractors have embarked on fixing of damaged portions of road in some areas in Ibadan and other part of the state.
The complimentary efforts, which has been easing traffic in the state, is being acknowledged and appreciated by the stakeholders including Construction Professionals Association local content group.
Representative of the companies, who preferred anonymity, told journalists, over the weekend, that the main effort of the organisations is to compliment the effort of Governor Seyi Makinde in developing infrastructure in the state.
He said the projects embarked on are being done for free because of the development of the state, which the companues have at heart.
He also urged other indigenous companies to follow same template by contributing their efforts to achieve the same goal.
“We are doing all of these for free and it is part of our effort to support the government to ease vehicular movements in the state.
“Having noticed that increasing rate of traffic due to increasing number of population attracted to Ibadan due to developmental strides of governor Seyi Makinde, we decided to come in and we are hoping other indigenous company would emulate such,” He said.
