The Oyo State House of Assembly has passed two executive bills into law.
The bills are Ministry of Establishment and Training bill 2019, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Development rural bill 2019.
According to Radio Nigeria, the bills were passed into law after scaling through the third reading and a clause by clause examination by lawmakers at the plenary presided over by the speaker, Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin.
Commenting, member representing Ogo Oluwa/Surulere state constituency, Mr. Simeon Oyeleke said the Ministry of Establishment and Training is to ensure job satisfaction in the state civil service and equip workers with modern training for them to conform with best international practices.
Also speaking, member representing Ibarapa North and Central, Mr. Ojedokun Gbadejesin Said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was restructured and backed by law to actualize the dream of the present administration in the state to boost Internally Generated Revenue IGR through agriculture.
The two executive bills were the first bills to be passed into law under the state 9th House of Assembly inaugurated in June this year.
