In order to appreciate the time, energy and commitment they have spent towards his political success, the founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has appreciated members of his “think-thank” committee and loyalists in Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency with cash

Arc Giwa, in a statement from his campaign office, started his appreciation gesture on Sunday, 24th July, 2022 by hosting the people, political leaders, and supporter across Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency to express his gratitude for their support so far.

He used the opportunity of get-together to empower some of his loyalists by giving them sewing machines to support their business.

Also to appreciate their dedication and commitment, the renowned architect gifted cash reward for members of his think-thank committee, loyalists and party faithful on Wednesday and Friday last week.

Addressing his loyalists on Friday, Arc Giwa disclosed that the gesture was in line with his promise and objective of his foundation.

The founder of HOG Foundation, while stating the significance of the cash rewards, said that it is imperative to appreciate the people who believed in the vision and shown commitment, doggedness and steadfastness to the course over the years.

Giwa maintained that its part of the commitment of the foundation to empower, support and create brighter future for the less privileged, students, widows, aged and people living with disability in the society.

While giving kudos to all the beneficiaries for believing in him and his mission, assured them that despite the fact that he could not secure the ticket to contest in the election, he will not relent in his oars to give his best to the service of humanity.

He added that, that is what brought out the Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation and eventually promoted him to join politics.

Also speaking, Chief Olukunle Sanda, commended Arc Hassan Giwa for the genuine love he has for the people of Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency.

Chief Sanda disclosed that Hassan Giwa, through his Foundation, has been doing well for the people in so many aspects of life even without holding any elective positions.

The progressive leader expressed that Arc Giwa had done what many who had the privilege to occupy the positions of chairman of local government, state honourable could not do for several years.

In his address, the former CBN Deputy Governor, Chief Bayo Adelabu, who also presented the cash gift to the beneficiaries, assured the teeming supporters in Lagelu Local Government to continue to give their necessary support.

He said that issue of affirmation with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will be addressed in a matter of days.

Chief Adelabu assured his readiness to work with Arc Hassan Giwa, describing him as one of the politicians that have the interest of the people in the grassroots at heart.

The programme was attended by Hon. Oyewumi Oyegoke, Hon. Remi Adebayo, Chief Segun Ajuwon, Chief Segun Ogunyemi, Hon. Debo Arowomole, Hon. Abidemi Olagoke (Atorise), Alhaja Taiwo Ajao and Hon. Sanjo Akanmu among others.
